Coffee Break Illustrations.
Below is a series of ink drawings that were done between 2019 and 2020. They were made right at the beginning of our collaboration. Done during the moments between painting in the studio. There was such an energy and a desire to create between us that even when resting we were collaborating. We drank peppermint tea and coffee, sat on high stools at the window of the coffee shop across from the studio, and watched the world go by with a sketchbook between us. These drawings are what we found and are a visual log of that time and those conversations.
